Job Market Papers

There are two papers which I believe demonstrate my skills best and which I use as job market papers.

The first one “Firm Heterogeneity and Costly Trade: A New Estimation Strategy and Policy Experiments,” joint with S. Demidova, H.L. Kee, K. Krishna, highlights my experience with structural trade models, which are at the frontier of the international trade theory.

The second paper “The Great Russian Devaluation and Labor Demand” offers an example of reduced-form analysis dealing with a hot topic on the border of international trade and labor economics.

I can present any of these two papers at the discretion of interviewer.

The third paper in my dissertation “The Inside Scoop: Acceptance and Rejection at the Journal of International Economics,” joint with S. Demidova, S. Imai and K. Krishna, is already published in the Journal of International Economics.
